My cat is using the bathroom in clothes, on beds, shelves, behind the couch, and tearing the food open as well - bathroom clothes

Try a different litter box. probobly marking his territory. Do not let him. If you get scolded. if it does not help, and call the veterinarian can more suggestions. Good luck
